Diane Haugen was born to be an artist. She was drawing before she was three years old. Her first formal education as an art student was at Mankato State University in Minnesorta. With several years experience, imitating the style of her talented uncle, her expertise in pencil drawing was well developed by then.
The slight exposure to watercolor painting she received in her successive school years was enough to set her feelings in that direction. Her talent continued to develop in this area over the next years into a masterful art, producing paintings that have been sold around the world.
